Viola Davis
Viola Davis, born March 19, 1963, is a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives for District 87 since January 14, 2019. An honor graduate of the Medical College of Georgia with a B.S. in Nursing, she has over 23 years of experience as a critical care nurse, administrator, and instructor. A U.S. Army veteran, Davis is also the founder of Unhappy Taxpayer & Voter, advocating against government waste. She has led efforts to secure funds for environmental cleanup and opposed the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST). Davis resides in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
